My New Start & Update

Well, I made a new start after HAED released the new Elaine Cox QS's. I had to have Pink Braid Mermaid, then kitted it up, and started. She is being stitched on 40ct. Cream Newcastle with DMC 1 over 2.

I haven't really gotten much done on Pirate Mermaid, but here she is. Really want to get more of her hat finished.

But, now I am really getting eager to start Villages of Hawk Run Hollow. Finally finished kitting it up last night so everything is now ready to start.

After going through my photo album yesterday I am now itching to pick up Mystic Mermaid by Jessica Galbreth.

What Am I Going To Do?????

I couldn't help myself the other evening when HAED released 3 new Elaine Cox Quick Stitches. Told myself that I wasn't going to buy any until the next sale, but I couldn't resist for very long. So, went and purchased QS Pink Braid Mermaid. Now I feel the need to kit her up, and start her.

Then I went through my HAED files on my 'puter, and found Linda Ravenscroft's Atlantis now I really want to kit this one up, and make a new start with this one as well.

Still waiting for new Ching Chou Kuik's for be released. I really love working on her QS Pirate Mermaid; it really is a joy to stitch. Everytime I seem to pick her up I don't know where to start, because there is so much going on in this piece. Really love the bright colours in her hat.

Well, enough of my ramblings for today. I think that I really need a Serial Starter Blinkie. LOL

My Weekend Stitching

Here is my progress of Character Creations Koi Mermaid. She is being stitching on 25ct. Lugana Potato 1 over 1 with DMC. I got about 1000-1500 stitches into her so far. Not too bad for it being my first time stitching over 1. LOL

Also, I would to show you my progress of CC Kuik's Pirate Mermaid charted by HAED. She is being stitched on 40ct. Newcastle Wisteria from Country Stitch; 1 over 2 with DMC.

Hope everyone is enjoying my WIPs as much as I enjoy posting them. Sorry, about not linking to the original pics, but haven't mastered how to do that yet.

General Ramblings......

Here is my recent progress of CC Kuik's Pirate Mermaid. Some of you may have seen her posted on the HAED BB. I am stitching this along with Nancy. I was going to try, and finish the other fishy yesterday, but my head just wouldn't let me. It may not let me get much stitching done today either.

Nancy, and I will also be starting Koi Mermaid from Character Creations.

Also, we will also be starting Village of Hawk Run Hollow from Carriage House Samplings. Nancy will be stitching hers on 40ct. Lakeside Linen Magnolia, and I will be stitching mine on 40ct. Lakeside Linen Vintage Strawflower.

Stitching Comp. Final

Well, didn't get much stitching in this weekend. Saturday had a terrible headache, and was got most of the day shopping on Sunday. So, didn't even get to pick up a needle. But, I did manage to get about 2,000 stitches in which is 4,000 total for the Stitching Comp. since I did full stitches. Here is my progess from the Stitching Comp.

I did manage to get a small start on her face. If anyone doesn't know, or forgot I stitched QS Dolphin Mermaid by Nadia Tate. I may try to put in a few more stitches into her this evening. After that I will be picking back up QS Pirate Mermaid by CC Kuik. I am really looking forward to seeing how this one is going to stitch up.

What I have been stitching

I couldn't help myself last week, and ordered CC Kuiks' QS Pirate Mermaid, and QS ACEO Jade Mermaid. After I received them kitted them up, and started them. I also started QS Dolphin Mermaid for the HAED Comp. this week. Will be posting a pic of her at the end of the week.
